"The Lake Hefner Recreation Master Plan has been adopted and integrated into the Oklahoma City Master Plan but IT IS NOT BINDING on our city government!  Therefore it is critical that we be vigilant in our protection of the citizens’ recommendations of the Lake Master Plan, and if any entity threatens the lake we must be resolved to take action as individual citizens and as members of our respective Lake Hefner organizations.

To that end here are links to your City officials. Whether you are praising them for their good works or registering your disagreement with their actions communicate with them often. Remember, they are acting for the people so we the people must remind them of our desires in order to help them steer right course."

Water Utilities Trust

The Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) has five trustees: the Mayor, a Council member, the City Manager, and two citizens nominated by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. OCWUT meets each 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 2 PM in City Council Chambers, at 200 N. Walker Ave., 3rd floor.
